    Pretty easy, overall.

    Course Overview:

Professor Perry is really invested in the subject and helping her students. She makes the class a joy to be in and I would recommend any class of her's.

    Course highlights:

This class focuses on the colonization of what will become the United States to the Reconstruction era after the United States civil war.

    Hours per week:

    3-5 hours

    Advice for students:

Do read one chapter of the textbook a week or by the time the test comes around you will be overwhelmed. The reading for the class are easy but necessary because the reading were discussed in class. Even if you are not the best writer, you can succeed in essays and on tests, Professor Perry is very understanding and helpful.

Not too easy. Not too difficult.

    Course Overview:

It is a great course that really helped me, as a non-history person at all, understand and get to know the ins- ands-outs of the Start of America.

    Course highlights:

I think the best part was learning about how the indians got to america during the ice age across the "bering straight" That was really cool to learn about and then fast forward to the Civil war, it is great to see how the war was actually fought.

    Hours per week:

    6-8 hours

    Advice for students:

Do the readings!!! It really helps keep you focused on what material you are covering.

Not too easy. Not too difficult.

    Course Overview:

Professor Stokes has the most amazing lectures. He has a great perspective on American History.

    Course highlights:

Attendance is mandatory because he does not post his PowerPoints and even if he did, all of the information comes from the lectures, not the presentations.

    Hours per week:

    3-5 hours

    Advice for students:

    Attendance is absolutely mandatory.
