    This class was tough.

    Course Overview:

This professor was not willing to work with her students no matter the circumstances and the assignments did not go along with what you read in the book.

    Course highlights:

I didn't learn too much because things were very jumbled.

    Hours per week:

    6-8 hours

    Advice for students:

Do not take this course no matter the circumstances.

Not too easy. Not too difficult.

    Course Overview:

I recommend this course because the professor truly cares about her students. The material is in depth and you actually learn in the class, it's not busy work just for the sake of doing the something. While the class can be challenging, Miss Walsh is always available to give you assistance where you need it. There are also a lot of extra credit opportunities, which are life savers!

    Course highlights:

The highlight of this course are the labs. Professor Walsh worked in lab research for many years and conducts her labs very professionally, while still keeping them entertaining and fun. The highlight subject of this course is genetics, which have always interested me. In short, while the lectures seem long, Professor Walsh tries her hardest to make them interesting and the material easy to understand.

    Hours per week:

    6-8 hours

    Advice for students:

If you are considering this course, take lots of notes. The tests are based solely on what is talked about in class, not on the book. Print the PowerPoint slides and write your notes in the margins. Pay attention to the professor, because she will tell you that certain subjects will be on the test or say something would make a great short answer questions. Copying the information on the slides is a great way to study for the course. Thought it may seem tedious and time consuming, it solidifies the information for you better than anything else.
