Not too easy. Not too difficult.

    Course Overview:

This course gave me the opportunity to not only stay in shape and learn how to take care of my body while in school, but it also gave me a lot of insight as to how to design an exercise program for someone. This is super helpful in my future career as some of the same concepts can be applied to program design in occupational therapy. It was definitely helpful taking prerequisite courses beforehand as it made the class a lot easier to understand.

    Course highlights:

The biggest highlight for me was getting to go to an actual sports performance facility and getting to put what we learned in the classroom in a real life setting. The coach taught us how to design an appropriate warm-up for someone as well as a lot of other tips on program design. We also did regular workouts together as a class, which again enabled us to physically do what we were learning about in lecture.

    Hours per week:

    3-5 hours

    Advice for students:

My advice would be to study hard and do the work. The class is easy to do well in if you just pay attention and do the assignments. Also, do not miss class. All lectures are crucial as her tests are made straight from what is discussed in class.
