Not too easy. Not too difficult.

    Course Overview:

Professor Meixsel is very passionate about history and his obvious love for the subject makes the class more enjoyable. Achieving an A is easy if you take good notes during lectures and refer to the textbook for greater details.

    Course highlights:

I learned about U.S. History. It was similar to junior year in high school, but better because there was less memorizing of names and more learning about the past and how that had affected our lives now.

    Hours per week:

    0-2 hours

    Advice for students:

Do your best on the essays he assigns. Study your notes well and make sure you have enough detail from the textbook to support ideas during tests.

    | No strong feelings either way.

Not too easy. Not too difficult.

    Course Overview:

The class itself was not very interesting. As a 4 credit course, we met for lecture 3 times a week and had a lab once a week. During the lab, we just did presentations. Group presentations were frustrating and boring and difficult. The exams were 12 pape papers. Definitely could find an easier gened

    Course highlights:

The professor was wonderful. Kevin is a great guy and just wants us to learn. He's always asking for feedback on his lessons and making sure everyone is on the same page. The two papers were to be written on a debate between two historical individuals. I learned quite a bit.

    Hours per week:

    0-2 hours

    Advice for students:

Read more than I did, it'll help in the long run. Don't wait until the last week to start your paper!

It helps people gain perspective and answers to questions throughout history.

I learned about the development of ideas over the history of the United States, and how these have shaped our society today.

    Hours per week:

    3-5 hours

    Advice for students:

Keep up with the work and readings!
