    This class was tough.

    Course Overview:

You will definitely learn a lot about plants and his test are harder than the other bio 114 professors. His tests also contain questions about random facts that he says in class but he keeps the class funny and interesting for an 8am.

    Course highlights:

In this class I gained basic knowledge about animals and alot about plants. Their is a lot more coverage on plants than animals. He also adds a lot of funny stories and random facts into his lecture to make it more interesting.

    Hours per week:

    3-5 hours

    Advice for students:

If you take this class you should tape the lectures and re listen to them later as he tests you on everything that he says in class. Also make sure you go to office hours so that he knows your trying because he does give grade boosters to people at the end of the semester.

    Pretty easy, overall.

    Course Overview:

When taking tests, you take the test first individually and then in your small group. The scores are then averaged to get your final test score. This is a nice because if you do poorly on the individual section you can still get a decent grade. It is beneficial because teammates often debate and try to explain why each answers are incorrect or correct; you learn in the process.

    Course highlights:

I learned a lot about evolutionary biology. This is beneficial for me because I plan on being a doctor.

    Hours per week:

    3-5 hours

    Advice for students:

Read the text book and do the online work, because it will help you review the material.
