    This class was tough.

    Course Overview:

Dr. Cole strongly believes in student involvement. He creates assignments that require you to speak in front of the class and share the information you have discovered based on the assignment. This may seem intimidating at first, but it is a FANTASTIC way to meet new people. I also learned more about public speaking in that class than my SCOM Individual Presentation class because he gives such great feedback. The topics of the course are very dry, but if you want help, he is really a great resource because he WANTS you to succeed in the College of Business.

    Course highlights:

The speaking projects are by far the best. If forced me to really study related topics of the course. He also teaches Access Databases, which is really confusing, but if you take it seriously, you learn it very thoroughly.

    Hours per week:

    3-5 hours

    Advice for students:

Do not get behind on Access assignments. They are graded and cumulative, so putting an effort into all assignments is essential.
