Not too easy. Not too difficult.

    Course Overview:

If you are very interested in chemistry this is a great course to begin your career. Dr. Hughey, along with the rest of the chemistry department, is very nice and will help you with many different problems you may encounter.

    Course highlights:

The highlights of this course are bettering my understanding of chemistry and the world around me. This class taught me stoichiometry, naming compounds, ionic bonding, and intermolecular forces. Though they sound challenging and daunting at first, if you put all of your effort into the class they will become very interesting and explain some common daily occurrence around you.

    Hours per week:

    9-11 hours

    Advice for students:

The study tips i would give are to read all of the chapters and finish the learn smarts. Also the chemistry department offers study sessions that can help you raise your grade by almost a whole letter grade. lastly you should show up to class and ask questions. Dr. Hughey is very good at explaining things and won't hesitate to explain something if you ask.

    This class was tough.

    Course Overview:

I would definitely recommend this course. Yes, it is very vigorous and required a lot of work, but Dr. Baber is a wonderful teacher and you will feel proud for accomplishing something.

    Course highlights:

I learned how to study better and how to not doubt myself when I need to do the work.

    Hours per week:

    12+ hours

    Advice for students:

You should definitely make sure you understand every concept and if you do not make sure that you seek help when needed.
