Not too easy. Not too difficult.

    Course Overview:

From what I know about my Freshman dorm, Eagle Hall, it was not amazing. You can't expect much from dorms that have been around

    Course highlights:

for decades and have to fit hundreds of different people in one building each year. There was/is no A/C in Eagle and that was harsh even in some of the colder months where it was stuffy in the rooms.

    Hours per week:

    9-11 hours

    Advice for students:

When I was there, Wi-Fi was not available in the dorm and Ethernet was limited to two ports per room. Since then, Wi-Fi has been installed for every room but when I was there, it was difficult.

    Course Overview:

If you're looking for a party, you'll find it. But, if you want something to do on a friday night besides partying, you'll find that too.

    Course highlights:

There are no bars or clubs near JMU.... transportation to and from parties is very accessible. We have something called "safe rides" or "sober rides"

    Hours per week:

    6-8 hours

    Advice for students:

where sober JMU students transport other students back to their dorms or apartments for a small charge

Not too easy. Not too difficult.

    Course Overview:

I came to James Madison University only knowing three people out of all the 20,000+ students on campus.

    Course highlights:

I had no friends and I was essentially starting all over with new friends and a new home. Within the first day,

    Hours per week:

    6-8 hours

    Advice for students:

I already felt at home and I loved it. The campus is beautiful and a majority of people are so nice and friendly! The boys all hold the doors open for the girls which is something I am not use to.
