Not too easy. Not too difficult.

    Course Overview:

I would recommend this particular course to anyone that is looking to further their education, simply because English 101 is the foundation to all courses that you will later in your college career. Many of the courses that are assigned to me require a significant amount of writing (i.e, thesis, outlines, and research papers) that require you to know the basic build of an essay or any written assignment.

    Course highlights:

The highlight of this course was being able to communicate with my professor under no circumstance and receiving all encouraging words from her. Throughout my college experience, thus far, she provided the necessary resources along with a little extra in order for her students to succeed at their best.

    Hours per week:

    9-11 hours

    Advice for students:

I would advise all students to not try to get ahead of the course and go by each assignment from week to week. Sometimes getting ahead is an advantage, but by performing each assignment according to its designated module it'll be more beneficial to what you're able to learn.

    This class was tough.

    Course Overview:

English 101 with Ms. Jaussen has helped me in so many ways of writing. There were many gray areas in my writing that I had never even known was there. Ms. Jaussen took the initiative to improve those areas that I struggled with the most and make them into strong platforms. I would recommend this course to anyone.

    Course highlights:

In English 101 with Ms. Jaussen I learned the fundamentals of writing that I never learned in high school. Citing sources was always a problem for me and starting the year off with the new MLA 8 really hurt my grades, but Ms. Jaussen showed me exactly how I should be citing my sources. She also helped with organization of my papers. In high school I used to be very un-organized and now I am able to structure my sentences more accurately. These are just a few things I learned from taking this course!

    Hours per week:

    6-8 hours

    Advice for students:

Anybody that considers taking this course should not question it! If you struggle in your writing and need assistance, then this is the class for you. The English 101 course will challenge you and make you a better writer by the end of just a semester.
