    This class was tough.

    Course Overview:

This course is tough, but you learn so much. Dr. Spohn is full of practical wisdom.

    Course highlights:

Dr. Spohn applies everything to real life and integrates a biblical worldview very well. He addresses to his students as "beloved" when he's teaching, so sweet.

    Hours per week:

    3-5 hours

    Advice for students:

study study study. Every day after class, read the notes from the class before that. Always study just a few minutes every day bc exams are the only grade.

Not too easy. Not too difficult.

    Course Overview:

Dr. Spohn is so passionate about science and makes the course interesting. He adds comedy and stories which help the lessons stick with you. He cares about the information staying with you so you are prepared for tests.

    Course highlights:

I learned how the human body operates and how we are fearfully and wonderfully made. Dr. Spohn continuously reminds you that you are a champion. It's also tons of fun to try to casually work science terms into a conversation with a friend. I have learned how to incorporate lessons into my daily routine to remember the information.

    Hours per week:

    3-5 hours

    Advice for students:

Take thorough notes! If he says to write something down or remember something he says, definitely take note of that. He won't make you write things down that he doesn't want you to know.

Not too easy. Not too difficult.

    Course Overview:

I would recommend this course for anyone who wants to understand why the human body works they way it does. Also more towards anyone who wants to gain knoweledge for the medical field.

    Course highlights:

Some highlights of AP Biology would have to be seeing our DNA under the microscope or going to the cadaver lab at Rochhurst University as a field trip.

    Hours per week:

    9-11 hours

    Advice for students:

Advise to incoming underclass men would be to always have your note book ready, and always have Mr. Knowles' PowerPoint pulled up on the compute in front of you.
