Not too easy. Not too difficult.

    Course Overview:

I would definitely recommend this class for anyone wanting to be in a leadership position, not specifically just someone that wants to own their own business. It gives great advice on how to be an effective leader in life and in business.

    Course highlights:

At first, I wasn't too excited to do this course because it seemed heavy on reading and homework, but as I got into it, the material was easy to learn. It was very thought provoking and made me think of the type of leader I am now as compared to how I want to be and what is most effective. It also went over how to be a good employee which I also valued.

    Hours per week:

    3-5 hours

    Advice for students:

I took one day to sit and read the textbook, highlight all the important information, answer the questions, and do the vocabulary sheet. This took about two hours. Then I took another day to do the computer work which was just putting the stuff I had done in the book on BlackBoard and do a short essay. This took about an hour, but sometimes two. The only supplies I needed were a pen and highlighter.

    This class was tough.

    Course Overview:

I would recommend this course because it really challenged me in my writing and research skills. There are a lot of writing assignments including article reviews, discussion board threads, and a research paper. Finding peer reviewed scholarly articles to reference can sometimes be a challenge. This course helped me overcome that.

    Course highlights:

There are so many aspects to business management that I cannot name just a few. However, I feel like I learned everything efficiently.

    Hours per week:

    9-11 hours

    Advice for students:

Put a lot of thought and time into your research! Your grade will thank you!
