    | Would highly recommend.

    This class was tough.

    Course Overview:

I would highly recommend this course to anyone who has the opportunity to take it! This course is very fast paced with substantial amounts of work every week, but it is so worth it in the end. You may not realize how much you have learned in the class until it is time to take the final exam. The biggest advice I would give is to practice, practice, practice! This class is different than other classes in the sense that there is so much more hands on work than actual exams. It is most important to master the skills you learn, and the answers to the factual test questions will follow.

    Course highlights:

I gained extensive knowledge of the human body by taking this course. This course is so much better than anatomy and physiology because you get to assess the human body in action! The highlight of this course was definitely the final exam. For the final exam, you get to perform a full body examination on a real person. Seeing how much you learned throughout the semester by performing the tasks yourself is incredible and so encouraging!

    Hours per week:

    6-8 hours

    Advice for students:

Do not blow off the little pieces of the course. Although the workbooks are only a few points each, the points add up quickly and it is very easy to lose a letter grade over just a couple of workbook points. Also, keep a planner updated! Many of the assignments have odd due dates, and they do that on purpose. Keep up with each assignment because the school of nursing does not except any late work!
