    This class was tough.

    Course Overview:

Organic Chemistry, regardless of where you take the course, is an extremely difficult subject to master. Dr. Fulp did an excellent job of teaching it.

    Course highlights:

I learned how to manage my time in order to accomplish all of the studying I needed to do.

    Hours per week:

    12+ hours

    Advice for students:

Pace yourself with studying and don't fall behind. Working ahead is essential.

    This class was tough.

    Course Overview:

Personally, I would not recommend this class be taken to anyone at Liberty university. Unless you are heavily involved in the chemistry department and want to become a chemist, this class will not help your GPA at all, regardless of how motivated and driven you are to succeed. (Took it 3 times). Best suggestion is to take it at a community college and transfer in the credits.

    Course highlights:

While this class is very hard and in depth, you do learn a lot of material that you would not have thought would have been pertinent information. The lab excersices were the most beneficial as it provided you with the hands on experience needed for future work in the science field

    Hours per week:

    12+ hours

    Advice for students:

The best way to pass this course is attend every class, record the lectures, take vivid notes, perform the practice problems out of the back of the book, over, and over, and over again, form a study group, and go to all the review sessions that are provided.

The professor is extremely organized and helpful.

    Course highlights:

I learned a great deal about the chemistry of life. I enjoyed developing my knowledge of nomenclature and stereochemistry to get a firm base for future chemistry courses.

    Hours per week:

    12+ hours

    Advice for students:

It is really tough, but you can do it if you put in the work.
