Not too easy. Not too difficult.

    Course Overview:

This course is so much fun. It is completely interactive and challenging and never boring. It is an introductory course covering basics of film design. It will completely ruin so many movies because your brain will start picking them apart but it also makes the really good movies that much more enjoyable.

    Course highlights:

Part of the charm of going over basics is that when examined on a basic level, the knowledge is super applicable to so many other things. Like all courses at Liberty University, it incorerates a biblical world view into what you learn and helps one navigate what kind of influences they really are recieving from what they see and hear through film.

    Hours per week:

    3-5 hours

    Advice for students:

Read. The first portion of the class is all about sound, it is a lot of reading so just go for the bold. Also, ask questions, the professors usually are working professionals in the film industry first, and teachers second. Plus it is a hard subject to teach since most of cinematic is about learning through doing. So if it is daunting, just do it and if you don't like it do it again. The more you do it, the more you learn.
