Not too easy. Not too difficult.

    Course Overview:

This course was the only math course I have ever enjoyed. The material is actually useful in real life. Business, or financial, math in my opinion is the most essential type of math for everyday people.

    Course highlights:

This course centers around making, maintaining, managing, and adjusting a real budget. Practical exercises include calculating loans for vehicles, mortgages, and investments. I learned financial principals that everyone should absolutely know. A simple example is compounding interest and the rule of 7. Search for that on the internet and you'll be blown away that you didn't learn that in public school.

    Hours per week:

    0-2 hours

    Advice for students:

Stay on top of the material because the assignments do build upon each other. Get the business calculator which does time value calculations. Make sure you understand the time value formulas and imputs before the class move on.
