    This class was tough.

    Course Overview:

Mrs. Dow is a wonderful professor. She explained the material well and made it truly fun. To do well in this course, you really do have to read for EVERY class, however. There are pop quizzes that make up a surprising amount of points that are given every class period.

    Course highlights:

I learned never to skip out on reading! I also learned what the course was intended to teach: a thorough survey of British literature. I was able to apply the principles to my own life.

    Hours per week:

    3-5 hours

    Advice for students:

You have to read for every single class period! Some of the works are ancient and hard to understand, but don't just sparknote it. Try to find a translation and really read it, because Prof. Dow asks questions on very specific details that Sparknote just can't give you.
