    | Would highly recommend.

Not too easy. Not too difficult.

    Course Overview:

Dr. Long is highly organized, and uses the book effectively. He posts grades a little slow, but he is very fair. Do the homework as soon as you can to solidify the information and you will do very well in the class.

    Course highlights:

The course is essentially mathematics for computers. Big O and Big Omega were difficult areas for me before the class, and though they are still challenging, Dr. Long really helped to solidify them for me.

    Hours per week:

    6-8 hours

    Advice for students:

Do the homework as soon as it posts. They solidify the information, and even if you think it is easy, you would be surprised how quickly you can forget. There is no grade for the homework, but it is one of the most valuable elements for succeeding in the weekly quizzes and in the four Tests.
