    | Would highly recommend.

    This class was tough.

    Course Overview:

This class makes you think hard and memorize important details forever.

    Course highlights:

I learned about cell biology, how proteins are made, and the chemistry around biology. We also learned how to study better.

    Hours per week:

    12+ hours

    Advice for students:

Keep studying. The day you stop is the day you slow down. Keep up on the power points and don't wait for the day before the test.

    | No strong feelings either way.

Not too easy. Not too difficult.

    Course Overview:

The class is only open to biology majors and minors, and is the required beginning course for those programs. It is a very good introduction to many of the topics in biology and includes topics that are typically not taught during high school. The class is hard, but you will learn a lot of new things and learn new details and understanding to the material you have been previously taught.

    Course highlights:

This course is an overview of general biology. The more difficult topics of this class are photosynthesis, cellular respiration, cell communication, DNA replication and repair because we were expected to know in details the way this processes worked. While the topics in this class might be fammiliar, you are expected to know, understand, and memorize in-depth many details.

    Hours per week:

    6-8 hours

    Advice for students:

Reading the text-book before the lecture is helpful because then the material has been introduced and you will understand it better in class. Also, the textbook is very detailed but most of the details you need to know for the test are on the powerpoints and notes.

    This class was tough.

    Course Overview:

This class requires the maximum amount of hours in studying. You should be spending 3 hours outside of class studying for every hour you sit in class. 5$82 strategy has raised my test grade by 30 points.

    Course highlights:

I learned so much general information about biology that planted a base of knowledge for the biology classes I am in now.

    Hours per week:

    12+ hours

    Advice for students:

Get ready to put most of your time into studying biology. It is worth it if you are planning to major in biology.
