    This class was tough.

    Course Overview:

It's truly a well-rounded course. You learn so many different ways to utilize Adobe Photoshop while also integrating photography. This class necessitates a certain level of skill in photography, so you're strengthened in that area while also growing in core design principles of typography, vector illustration, and layout. Also, the Professor is great!

    Course highlights:

There were so many highlights! Every assignment exercised a different aspect of Adobe Photoshop, so you always knew that you were going to be learning something completely different from week-to-week. I learned digital illustration, color correcting, double exposure, photo manipulation, cover design, poster design, and so much more.

    Hours per week:

    6-8 hours

    Advice for students:

Don't give up. Every classmate I spoke with, especially non-design majors, had a moment where they seriously considered dropping the class. When you come to that point, remember that you are being better equipped to excel in your chosen profession and KEEP GOING! Ask questions and seek critique (even if its painful) so that you can truly learn to create beautiful, high-quality content.
