This class was tough.
The professor demonstrates the principals and fundamentals of financial and managerial accounting in a personal and attentive way. He breaks down the fundamentals and ensures all students have an understanding of the basics before he continues on, explaining that accounting requires knowing all of the building blocks before continuing.
I learned the difference between managerial and financial accounting, as well as the similarities, through learning different memory tricks to instill the concepts into my knowledge. I personally enjoyed the repetitive homework practice because it forced repetition. I also enjoyed that the professor made us go back multiple chapters for homework near the midterm and final to refresh students on material they may have forgotten.

Advice for students:
Do the homework. It will save your grade, especially because he takes it so seriously. He will allow you to drop a few, in case you were out sick or something, but the few points do have significant impact. Also, go to the study sessions before every test. The study guide is almost exactly the test, and he reviews the problems and provides solutions at the study sessions.
