    I recommend this class because the content is very informative and delves deeper into the roots of the different regions of the world.

    Course highlights:

    A highlight of this class was writing a paper on the islamic faith. We talked in depth about the subject in class and then were able to demonstrate our knowledge in a final paper.

    Read the textbooks recommended for this class because it really helps you keep up with the pace of the class.

    Course highlights:

    It was a great class built around different techniques that brought about class participation as well as students paying attention. IT had many different informational videos on the different types of prehistoric civilizations as well as mid-evil as well.

    Advice for students:

    The biggest thing that you need to succeed in this class is participate in the class discussion, because this is 15% of your grade. Make sure that you take notes as well, there is a lot of material being covered so it is never a bad thing to write down as much info as possible.
