Not too easy. Not too difficult.

    Course Overview:

Dr. Usher encourages open discussions on theories, experiments, and anything else that pertains to our learning. She introduces outside sources into the classroom including some of her own research and experiences in the field. She explains every theory in a way that is easy to understand until every student has a clear understanding of the material at hand.

    Course highlights:

I learned a lot about culture, we compared American culture to other cultures as well as stepped back and made our own culture strange to us to study it without bias. Our discussions ranged from religions to family. We viewed every topic from different stand points to help eliminate any biases. We conducted our own experiments, watched videos, read articles, and had in depth discussions in class. Dr. Usher made it very easy to learn without diluting the value of the information we were learning.

    Hours per week:

    9-11 hours

    Advice for students:

Read your book, watch videos posted in the group by your teacher, do your homework, and show up to class. If you are having any difficulties in the class, seek help from your professor, Teaching Assistant, or a tutor. It is a really fun class if you do not allow yourself to fall behind.
