    | Would highly recommend.

    This class was tough.

    Course Overview:

I would definitely recommend this course because albeit it is difficult, the subject is a great help to students who routinely have to read studies and allows them to better make sense of all the math used in the data portions of them.

    Course highlights:

I learned how to perform the statistical formulas necessary for data to be used appropriately in studies.

    Hours per week:

    9-11 hours

    Advice for students:

Make sure to listen to the lectures, read the book and practice as much as you can. If you don't understand, ask questions. Office hours are miracles for students who don't understand as Professors often don't have the time to answer your questions in class and give all the information so take advantage whenever your can.

    This class was tough.

    Course Overview:

Padilla is a hard teacher, but he does teach the information well.

    Course highlights:

This course was tough, but there are many grades that go into your final grade so you have opportunities to do well.

    Hours per week:

    12+ hours

    Advice for students:

Do every single piece of your work. Even if you don't finish all of the homework, turn it in. Every little bit helps. The homework is lengthy but does really help when it comes time to take the test.

    | Probably wouldn’t recommend.

    This class was tough.

    Course Overview:

The class is required to graduate. The material is fairly difficult and needs thorough explanation. Unfortunately, the professor struggles with communicating the material well to the students. He is very knowledgeable about the concepts, just cannot covey it well.

    Course highlights:

I have learned some of the fundamentals of research statistics. Most importantly, I learned how to prioritize my assignments and time manage.

    Hours per week:

    9-11 hours

    Advice for students:

Set aside time for this class. Learning the materials and completing the assignments takes a vast amount of time.
