    | Probably wouldn’t recommend.

    This class was tough.

    Course Overview:

He is a hard professor, but if you try hard enough and apply yourself you will succeed in this course. I would suggest getting a study group, reading the textbook, go to tutoring, and PRACTICE. I would also recommend getting another professor as well.

    Course highlights:

This course is honestly one of the hardest I have taken in the three years of being here. It is basically a recap of Elementary Statistics, but with a kick.

    Hours per week:

    3-5 hours

    Advice for students:

Practice makes perfect. Read the material and expect to spend a lot of money for this course because you have to purchase his textbook, the clicker (for extra credit and highly recommended), and for webassign. As stated before, go to tutoring as soon as possible and get a study group. Do not wait until the last minute to do your homework and read the material.

    | Would recommend.

    This class was tough.

    Course Overview:

This is a required course for the Psychology major at ODU.

    Course highlights:

Dr. Henson provides many tools to help be successful in this class. Use them and ask questions!

    Hours per week:

    6-8 hours

    Advice for students:

This is an extension of math course, it is difficult. Stay on top of readings, do the practice assignments and seek out study partners in your class. These are essential tools.

    | Would highly recommend.

    This class was tough.

    Course Overview:

I would definitely recommend this course because albeit it is difficult, the subject is a great help to students who routinely have to read studies and allows them to better make sense of all the math used in the data portions of them.

    Course highlights:

I learned how to perform the statistical formulas necessary for data to be used appropriately in studies.

    Hours per week:

    9-11 hours

    Advice for students:

Make sure to listen to the lectures, read the book and practice as much as you can. If you don't understand, ask questions. Office hours are miracles for students who don't understand as Professors often don't have the time to answer your questions in class and give all the information so take advantage whenever your can.
