Not too easy. Not too difficult.

    Course Overview:

I would recommend this course for students going into the political, international studies career field. This class is extremely information heavy and very fascinating but requires a lot of reading.

    Course highlights:

I learned a lot from this course! It taught me to pay attention to current events and how the government takes on a problem because it later has an effect on foreign policy in the future. I learned that history actually does not repeat itself. That countries learn from their past actions and try to prevent same problems from happening again.

    Hours per week:

    6-8 hours

    Advice for students:

READ, READ, READ! The papers required for this course relate back to a lot of the assigned readings and topics discussed in class and notes alone won't help. Only take the class if yu're seriously into the topic, it may be an 100 level course but it requires a lot of work

    This class was tough.

    Course Overview:

This was my most challenging course during my Fall Semester, but I appreciated the professor's lectures. He was informative and made the students have to read daily, to keep informed on topics.

    Course highlights:

I learned the importance of international policies, and how they affected the nation domestically. My favorite part of the class was the final paper needed to complete the course. I focused on Drones and Weapons of Mass Destruction and their effectiveness or lack there of.

    Hours per week:

    9-11 hours

    Advice for students:

I recommend studying every day. Purchase your textbooks and don't be afraid to mark through them. Making notecards for all terms was crucial for writing essays. When it came to the mid-term and final, I advise reading up on current topics/issues/policies.

    Pretty easy, overall.

    Course Overview:

I recommend the class because the class made me participate in world news that was currently happening.

    Course highlights:

The highlights of the course was when we would debate about current topics in groups of 5 then discuss in front of the class.

    Hours per week:

    3-5 hours

    Advice for students:

Read every required reading when quizzes are approaching.
