    | No strong feelings either way.

    This class was tough.

    Course Overview:

I would recommend the course because the course has a lot of valuable information, but I wouldn't recommend it if it's not a required course, because it is most definitely the hardest course I've ever taken in my life. The teacher uses all of his test questions from the MCAT, so it is extremely difficult.

    Course highlights:

I learned a lot about the human body.

    Hours per week:

    12+ hours

    Advice for students:

Study in groups, attend tutoring sessions, read all of the textbooks, attend every class, attend PASS sessions, get as many clicker points as possible, and NEVER slack off.

    This class was tough.

    Course Overview:

I would recommend this course because it teaches you how to really be an independent learner. It is really important to take matters into your own hands and study as much as possible in your free time to do well.

    Course highlights:

The lab portion of this class was always my favorite part. I learned so many new things about the human body and even the cat body.

    Hours per week:

    6-8 hours

    Advice for students:

STUDY STUDY STUDY! Studying for this course on your own and in groups is SO important to your success.Do all assigned reading and homework whether they are required or not; they will help you so much on tests.

    This class was tough.

    Course Overview:

Dr. Stevens lives up to his reputation of being a difficult professor, but now that I am in nursing school I have to say that a lot of the A&P information I learned with him stuck way better than my fellow classmates who had A&P somewhere else.

    Course highlights:

He may not explain things in order or stick to his syllabus but the highlight of the course for me is how Dr. Stevens really and truly knows what he is talking about. Ask any question, no matter how obscure and he can answer it. It's a blessing and a curse, since he can also talk for ever.

    Hours per week:

    6-8 hours

    Advice for students:

Put in the work, go to the ODU provided study sessions and the internet to help explain topics that you don't understand. Personally, I didn't read the textbook as others did and used other learning tools instead (especially Khan Academy!)
