    | No strong feelings either way.

    This class was tough.

    Course Overview:

I would recommend the course if you are a STEM major because physics is a subject that will help other with math and science courses. It carries over into other things that you will learn. It also gives you an idea of deriving formulas from other formulas, and it helps open your mind to why things happen. The hands on approach in the course gave the students a real-life scenario and helped us see why the equations made sense.

    Course highlights:

Vectors, Projectile Motion, Acceleration, Torque, and Work are the main things that we discussed throughout the course. I learned that many formulas have time, acceleration, velocity, torque, work, and speed. However, you have to know which one to use or the answer will be completely wrong, so it is important to understand the differences in each equation and their uses.

    Hours per week:

    6-8 hours

    Advice for students:

It is important for you to attend class, and to do the homework that is assigned. In college, homework is all you really have to prepare you for quizzes and tests. The information in courses such as physics labs you will probably have a group, so you should get contact information, and meet to study and finish lab reports.
