Not too easy. Not too difficult.

The professor is very engaged with the students and makes history fun, while delivering the material with a new perspective. She is very understanding and patient. Course is challenging but not too hard.

This history class is great because it allows you to gain information, while also retaining information. It is long but the professor's method of teaching and course plan and assignments makes it easier to learn.

    Hours per week:

    3-5 hours

Not too easy. Not too difficult.

    Course Overview:

I have never been a big fan of History, but Professor Jan (her preferred name), was awesome!! She is hands-down the best history teacher I've ever had. She made learning fun and exciting! She was always upbeat and understanding. I passed with a 98%, a new record for me! I would recommend her to everyone who has to take a history course at Old Dominion University!

    Course highlights:

Professor Jan was upbeat, fun, interesting, entertaining, knowledgeable and realistic. She made learning history fun for any students like me, who are not usually a fan. I honestly for the 1st time learned some true history of America and it's founders. Thanks to her, I actually can recall information and know what I'm talking about. Awesome teacher!!

    Hours per week:

    3-5 hours

    Advice for students:

Take Professor Janet Mullis if you want to enjoy those 16 weeks and actually learn a thing or two!
