    This class was tough.

    Course Overview:

I would really recommend this course if you want have a career health science in the future since the material covers how microbes affect everyday life. Knowing about how microbes affect health is a very important aspect in any health career.

    Course highlights:

The main things I learned in this course how microbes affect each other and other living and non living organisms. We also learned about the overall basics of microorganisms such as, DNA, the many different types of microbes, and the impact that they have on life.

    Hours per week:

    3-5 hours

    Advice for students:

My advice would be to do as much extra credit as possible. If you're not too great at memorizing a lot of material in short periods of time and tend to do poorly on test, do not take the extra credit for granted. Also, studying is definitely key to being successful in this course. If you think you're going to be able to study last minute and pass an exam with flying colors, you're sadly mistaken. The amount of effort you put into this course is definitely going to pay off in the long run.

    This class was tough.

    Course Overview:

Well, I would definitely recommend this class if you're thinking about enrolling in a health science major. I'm a nursing major and I had to take this class in order to enter the program.

    Course highlights:

The highlights of this course were the amounts of information I had to cram into my brain. You learn almost everything that is to know about the basics of microorganisms. You learn about the classifications, the genetic makeup and how they affect our everyday life.

    Hours per week:

    3-5 hours

    Advice for students:

For one, this is not course to take lightly. When I say this class is one to be reckoned with, take my word for it. The work load isn't much, but please take advantage of all of the extra credit thetis provided. Also study! I can't stress it enough. Study, study, study!
