Not too easy. Not too difficult.

    Course Overview:

While, Dr. Nesius has a habit of repeating information, which can be frustrating for those who already understand the information, this same style of teach is excellent for those who struggle. Furthermore, he is no unnecessarily tough like some professors can be, and clearly he knows what he is talking about.

    Course highlights:

Some classes I've taken have left me feeling as if I had learned nothing, not so for Dr. Nesius' class. Instead, I feel as though I can still share the information I learned even a semester later. The highlight, though, was how he finally made me really understand the difference between meiosis and mitosis after taking several classes that taught the material.

    Hours per week:

    3-5 hours

    Advice for students:

Understand that he does not want you writing everything he says in a notebook, so he passes out or has you print out, mostly completed notes. If you're the type that doesn't do well with notes you didn't write on your own, you might need to do extra studying. Additionally, the notes he doesn't mention are not posted online, so you need to pay attention and take good notes. There are also a great number of diagrams that you'll draw, so knowing how to make a clear, understandable diagram will help you in the long run.
