Not too easy. Not too difficult.
I spend most of my time in this course writing down quotes from Dr. Brenner because he has such a charm in connecting different thoughts concerning religion. Thoughts that teach you to view the world with a notion of grace.
I learned a lot about philosophers dating from the Ancient Greeks to Wittgenstein. This allowed me to get a broad perspective of many different thinkers. I enjoyed getting to read excerpts from their most popular works. What was also very intriguing was how Dr. Brenner would include articles from current philosophers commenting on these now deceased thinkers. This helped us to continue developing a broader way of thinking about their ideas.

Advice for students:
I have yet to take the final exam so during the semester, every 5 class days, you're required to turn in a paper between 4-5 pages and answers the questions that are attached to each reading in the textbook. As long as you seek to write in depth and creatively, he will recognize your hard work. It's not easy but it's extremely hard. Do your very best to write quality papers.
