Not too easy. Not too difficult.

    Course Overview:

Even though it is a very general course, it is required for Medical School! There are a few labs that are done and are very interesting, but you should get comfortable with Excel work before taking this course.

    Course highlights:

Working in lab groups an entire semester has helped to build friendships and a great out-of-class study group.

    Hours per week:

    3-5 hours

    Advice for students:

Take it! It's a long class, but it's only 2 days a week. It will prepare you for long labs in the future with other classes that you will have labs in each time you meet.

Not too easy. Not too difficult.

    Course Overview:

I would recommend this course because it is very engaging, and is also not a challenging course. It is perfect for people who wish to major in science because it is very hands-on and focused on creating proper experiments, yet it is also good for those not interested in science because it is so interactive and fun. Dr. Lim-Fong is a great professor as well and I highly recommend her as a professor.

    Course highlights:

The main thing we learned in the class was the proper protocol to create an experiment as well as how to judge an experiment to see if it was a valid correlation study. That was the main point of the class, while we learned about evolution, plant physiology, ecology, and animal physiology.

    Hours per week:

    3-5 hours

    Advice for students:

Be prepared to have homework every class, however it is not too challenging. If you find you are being challenged, the professor is willing to speak with you during her office hours and even go over the homework before the daily quiz. One must study the material and apply it throughout the course in order to succeed.
