    This class was tough.

    Course Overview:

Intro to Economics is a great course because it teaches the essentials of Economics. This course provides information everyone should know regardless of their major. It gave insight into significant political differences and opinions.

    Course highlights:

In Intro to Economics, the most interesting lesson was the economic philosophies of Keynes's and Hayeck's. Keynes believed the government should have a large role in economics. Hayeck challenged these beliefs and stated the opposite, government involvement in the economy should be limited to promote economic freedom. These views have shaped America, it's economy and political differences. I learned about the importance of investing money instead of just saving money in a bank. This course provides very practical and applicable information.

    Hours per week:

    6-8 hours

    Advice for students:

All students should read their course materials thoroughly and watch the videos provided by the professor. Also, students should utilize several sources for their papers and discussion posts. The quality of your paper will be improved depending on the amount and quality of your sources. It also prevents students from solely writing from their personal opinion.
