    This class was tough.

    Course Overview:

Many managment courses regurgitate the same information, and feel the same. This course helps students to see issues within a business that prevent it to succeed. Students learn which strategies are effective and how to project which avenues the business needs to expand into in order to keep growing.

    Course highlights:

This course teaches you how to properly analyze a business, and see what weaknesses and threats the business has, and then determine a plan to help it succeed. If reveals what great firms do and how they can be improved.

    Hours per week:

    12+ hours

    Advice for students:

This course takes a lot of time. The end of the week questions total 7-9 but took me 5-7 hours to complete each week. After reading the chapters, the answers are easier to come by, but being thorough requires work and a high word count. I would spend 5-7 hours trying to be efficient and finish just the weekly questions. However, this practice makes the minor and final projects easy to complete. Exams are book based and open book. Essentially they show that you read the required chapters, and weren't extremely difficult.
