    | Probably wouldn’t recommend.

    This class was tough.

    Course Overview:

This course has an abnormally heavy reading load, and all reading must be completed in order to grade well. If you follow the requirements of each assignment/discussion post to a "T", you will not grade well. You have to go very far above and beyond in order to get a decent grade. There is a lot of reading without instruction on interpretation.

    Course highlights:

I learned how to better read historical literature, but not necessarily to understand it.

    Hours per week:

    12+ hours

    Advice for students:

Only take it if it is absolutely unavoidable. If you do take it, do the work. If you do the work and the professor grades it badly, don't quit school!! (Like I wanted to!! :) )

    | Would highly recommend.

Not too easy. Not too difficult.

    Course Overview:

This is a terrific course that reintroduces students to classic books and introduces students to some unknown works that are very interesting and worth reading.

    Course highlights:

This course will require deep concentration as new perceptions and viewpoints will be awakened.

    Hours per week:

    9-11 hours

    Advice for students:

Be prepared to read a lot and see the books from a whole new appreciation.

    | Probably wouldn’t recommend.

    This class was tough.

    Course Overview:

I would only recommend this course if the student has adequate time and ability to read all assigned materials.

    Course highlights:

I suppose the highlights of the course are that you are exposed to a lot of classic literature.

    Hours per week:

    3-5 hours

    Advice for students:

Make sre that you manage your time carefully, and don't wait until the 11th hour to do you assigned reading.
