Not too easy. Not too difficult.

    Course Overview:

Hoffer has a lot of unique ways to explain concepts, and the class is small so it's much easier to learn.

    Course highlights:

This was my first Econ class, and I learned a lot more about the theory of Econ. I enjoyed speaking with Professor Hoffer, he is very funny, and I always looked forward to the class.

    Hours per week:

    6-8 hours

    Advice for students:

Go into his office hours, get the previous tests (he will hand them out as he changes every test) and use them as practice problems.

    This class was tough.

    Course Overview:

I would not recommend this course if you are not someone who is good at math or problem solving. Despite going into office hours multiple times, it seems as though I could not understand the concepts.

    Course highlights:

The highlights of this course would have to be having an understanding of the economy and the world around us.

    Hours per week:

    6-8 hours

    Advice for students:

Go in for office hours and do all the problem sets over and over again as well as the practice problems

    Pretty easy, overall.

    Course Overview:

Dermot is not afraid to cover a topic three times so everyone can understand it.

    Course highlights:

Unbelievable teacher. Very fun to have in class. Wish I could have him for all my ECON classes

    Hours per week:

    0-2 hours

    Advice for students:

Probably the best teacher I have had at ISU.
