    This class was tough.

    Course Overview:

Ann Backof is a great teacher who will constantly use her office hours to give as much help and feedback as possible regarding lectures, coursework, and homework alike.

    Course highlights:

The primary highlights was learning how the material all relates to each other rather than having to memorize all the concepts in an isolated fashion.

    Hours per week:

    12+ hours

    Advice for students:

Do not put off studying, and always do the assigned reading ahead of time. A lot of classes are set up in a way that allows you to cram the material at the last minute. This is NOT one of those classes.

    This class was tough.

    Course Overview:

Amazing course for learning the basics of financial accounting. She provided note sheets for each lecture and explained very clearly each concept. Office hours were super popular, but helped immensely if you came in prepared with questions.

    Course highlights:

Fill in the blank notes given before each lecture, practice exams that she provided before each exam, office hours, ability to use a calculator, easy homework. You didn't have to read the textbook because she explained it so clearly. You learn all the basics of financial including cash-flow, income, balance sheet statements.

    Hours per week:

    6-8 hours

    Advice for students:

Need to be willing to put in the effort for this course. This should be one of the hardest courses on your schedule. Definitely look over the practice exam and redo the homework problems before exams.

    Pretty easy, overall.

    Course Overview:

Delightful professor. Course material isn't the most exciting, but if you want to retire someday, you should take this class, because it'll help you get there.

    Course highlights:

    How to read financial statements

    Hours per week:

    0-2 hours

    Advice for students:

Go to the lecture, listen to the lecture, and do the homework. It's as simple as that.
