    | Would recommend.

    This class was tough.

    Course Overview:

I would recommend this course because both the programming language and the textbook that the professor utilizes make programming less intimidating to students who do not plan on specializing in this field. Additionally, Professor Sherriff is very energetic and passionate about the class, making lectures both engaging and informative.

    Course highlights:

The highlights of this course were certainly the lectures. As I have said, the professor is very engaging and I like listening to his lectures, whether I wholly understand the material or not. (In which case, I go directly to the many Office Hours). He also records his lectures, allowing you to listen to them in the safety of your dorm/apartment.

    Hours per week:

    9-11 hours

    Advice for students:

Be prepared to dedicate a lot of time to this class. While there are many resources available to students, it takes a few hours to do the assignments; especially, if you you are not a Computer Science Major like myself.
