Not too easy. Not too difficult.
This was a great class. Madame Geer truly cared about her class, encouraging us to participate while not being harsh on us for making mistakes. Though the activities and partner conversations were not always interesting, Madame Geer tried to be as motivational and helpful as possible. She made me feel more comfortable speaking French and has led me to consider minoring in French.
In this course we reviewed a lot of the material I learned in elementary level French. Nonetheless, I learned many new vocabulary words and two to three new verb tenses. The best part of this course was not having as much homework as elementary or a final exam. The online homework took no longer than twenty minutes to do and, instead of a final, we did a culture project with a partner.

Advice for students:
This class an easy A-/A as long as you put some effort into it. Do your online homework; it is not very hard and does not take long. Also do not wait until the last minute to start your compositions (they may require research) and do not be afraid to exceed the word count. I found that putting a little extra information/research into my compositions made the teacher appreciate my work more. Finally, study for the tests. Even if you already know most of the material, it does not hurt to review it and to learn the vocabulary words. Madame Geer is looking for you to use vocab words and the specific grammar structures and verb tenses you learned in the unit in your test essay. She is kind of a tough grader on that section!
