    | Would recommend.

    This class was tough.

    Course Overview:

I would recommend this course to those who are planning to pursue a major that deals heavily with math and/or science. The material is extensive and the course teaches students how it can be applied in everyday situations, and the professor did a very good job in explaining all of the different concepts. This class can be difficult if you don't have a lot of previous experience with calculus, but if you do the assignments and study on your own time then it can be very beneficial.

    Course highlights:

I appreciated that the professor took the time to explain the concepts in several different ways and use different types of examples to demonstrate the point. Though the assignments were often long and difficult, they were very helpful when preparing for exams.

    Hours per week:

    6-8 hours

    Advice for students:

If you aren't very confident in your math skills and background, I would definitely recommend reviewing material before the class starts, doing extra practice problems from the textbook, and going to office hours when you have questions.
