    | Would highly recommend.

    Pretty easy, overall.

    Course Overview:

Make sure that you go to lecture because attendance does count and participate in discussion. As far as readings go you can pick and choose but know your TA and if they expect readings, do it. She also offers little Extra Credits and things in class so that's another reason to go.

    Course highlights:

The best part of this course to me is it highlights parts of the African American experience in America that US History courses, for many, neglect and leave out and I feel it is something necessary to know to be a well rounded and knowledgable citizen.

    Hours per week:

    0-2 hours

    Advice for students:

Contribute to discussion, go to class the day before the exam, make an outline for essays, take extra credit opportunities.
