Not too easy. Not too difficult.

    Course Overview:

The facilities at UVA are beautiful, from the Academical Village (often called the Lawn) to newer buildings like Nau and the AFC. There are a lot of different types of people at UVA.

    Course highlights:

There is a large alumni network and they love UVA graduates and undergraduates. The professors are pretty approachable but classes are usually on the larger side. it is a great opportunity to meet new and different people.

    Hours per week:

    6-8 hours

    Advice for students:

The drug scene at UVA exists but it's behind closed doors. If you are looking for drugs, you will probably find them, but it's pretty easy to stay away if that's not your thing. Drinking is a more popular pass-time.

Not too easy. Not too difficult.

    Course Overview:

The College is great. I take classes is lots of different disciplines and feel like I'm getting a truly well-rounded education. The workload is reasonable. All of my teachers have been great. I try to avoid the huge intro-level classes because past experience has shown me that I struggle in these classes.

    Course highlights:

Great school spirit. Our football team seems to be improving this year. Our basketball is some of the best in the country. Wahoowa.Luckily, it is easy enough to find smaller classes that I can thrive in.

    Hours per week:

    6-8 hours

    Advice for students:

C'ville is the greatest college town in the US. It was ranked the Happiest City in America this past summer for a reason! Lots of great dining options, places to visit and things to do. The proximity to DC is great. And, of course, it is intoxicatingly beautiful.
