This class was tough.
I think it is an essential biology class for anyone interested in understanding cellular processes. It is just very difficult and requires a lot of time. It requires a lot memorization and careful note taking, and attendance in lecture. The concepts are confusing to learn without the assistance of a TA or the professor since many parts of the cell are very detailed and complicated.
I learned so many of the different cycles within the cell that occur to make metabolism possible. I also learned about nutrition in a non-direct way by learning how the cell processes everything you put into your body. In addition, I learned how parts of the body work in harmony with other parts, making it a course that left me in awe of the cell.

Advice for students:
Do not take it with other heavy course loads. I suggest taking it after basic intro biology and intro chemistry. I suggest going to office hours for this course, and forming study groups.
