    This class was tough.

    Course Overview:

Wormington is a wonderful professor and really breaks down complex concepts in a clear manner.

    Course highlights:

The section on cancer at the end of the course was really thought provoking. We basically discussed basic cell biology, important cell signaling cascades, and popular biological experimental techniques.

    Hours per week:

    3-5 hours

    Advice for students:

Definitely study the powerpoints and individually break down the material in a way that is easy for you to understand.

Not too easy. Not too difficult.

    Course Overview:

This was a very fulfilling course with an amazing professor that focused on the aspects of cell biology related to disease states. The professor made the lectures very easy to understand to the point that I barely had to read the textbook. To study for tests, I recommend recording the lectures and listening to them again while taking even more thorough notes to later study.

    Course highlights:

As I mentioned, I learned a lot about cell biology related to disease states and the disturbance of homeostasis in cell signaling pathways. The knowledge gained really helped me with MCAT information.

    Hours per week:

    3-5 hours

    Advice for students:

Make sure to record the lectures and take thorough notes on his powerpoint slides. Also, there are warm-up assignments due prior to each lecture, so make sure to do them.

    | No strong feelings either way.

    This class was tough.

    Course Overview:

You have to take this course for your biology degree, but it offers a wealth of knowledge that you will use throughout your biology career!

    Course highlights:

There were no specific highlights of the course, but you do come away with a lot of new knowledge. I did really enjoy when we studied the process of cancer and exactly what was going on in the cell. You learn everything from basic high school biology to sophisticated genetic information that will prove very valuable for later courses

    Hours per week:

    6-8 hours

    Advice for students:

    Take the class with Wormington
