    This class was tough.

    Course Overview:

This course contains very useful information and a renowned professor! Professor Elzinga is famous on grounds and hearing what he has to say is very worthwhile.

    Course highlights:

I learned the usefulness of economics in a social setting. Before taking econ, I did not know that one could logically deduce a person's behavior using the principles of economics.

    Hours per week:

    0-2 hours

    Advice for students:

Start studying for the exams early. There is a lot of information that can be overwhelming when you sit down to study. Do not get discouraged if you get a bad grade either. Not everyone is good at economics.

Not too easy. Not too difficult.

    Course Overview:

There is a lot of useful information for anyone, regardless of if you want to be an Econ major or not. Elzinga makes the lectures interesting and is considered a UVA legend, so please take it before he retires!

    Course highlights:

I loved the tangent lectures like the beer lecture. He has so much experience and also worked heavily in the government sector with anti-trust cases, so that makes the class very interesting.

    Hours per week:

    3-5 hours

    Advice for students:

Make sure you do ALL the readings and get to know your TA early. The TA will be so helpful in this.
