    | No strong feelings either way.

Not too easy. Not too difficult.

    Course Overview:

This course is very straightforward and simple to take. There is a quiz about every week or so, and as long as you have paid attention in class to the readings, they are simple to answer. As long as your answer is cohesive, intelligent and makes sense, you should earn a good grade. His lectures, however can be a little lengthy and monotone, but as long as you pay attention it's fine.

    Course highlights:

I learned how to analyze text and to make solid inference. This class taught me how to really use text to my advantage and how to recognize themes and infer things about stories that aren't mentioned in readings.

    Hours per week:

    6-8 hours

    Advice for students:

Turn in your quizzes on time, read the poems, and don't write essays at the last minute. Although his essays seem easy and it's tempting to wing it, just put a little time into them and your grade will show the difference. Also, pay attention to who writes which poems and stories. It's easier to refer back to later.
