Not too easy. Not too difficult.

    Course Overview:

Dr. Lotze is a wonderful and engaging professor. She really cares about the material and is excellent at explaining it.

    Course highlights:

I personally loved early and middle childhood. Learning how a child's brain changes in accordance with their cognitive processes is interesting to me.

    Hours per week:

    3-5 hours

    Advice for students:

Do not forger to do your learning curves! Also, do not be afraid to speak up in class or during group discussions.

Not too easy. Not too difficult.

    Course Overview:

The professor is incredible. Lectures are easy to follow and interesting. There isn't much busy work. Most of what you learn will follow the text book directly.

    Course highlights:

You will learn about every spectrum and age of development. This gives a thorough insight into yourself as well as others of all ages.

    Hours per week:

    3-5 hours

    Advice for students:

Read the text book completely, and take good notes. The tests are a mixture of both. Do not miss any class. While completing the study guide is helpful, do not commit it all to memory. Instead focus on a broader understanding of the material.

Not too easy. Not too difficult.

    Course Overview:

I learned way more than I expected to learn from this course! It was pretty demanding, but completely worth the work. Almost everything that I learned was applicable to everyday life, making the content memorable and extremely interesting.

    Course highlights:

I learned a great deal about physical human development, which I did not necessarily expect from this course! Each chapter presented new information about the human body, then related the information to psychological stages of development, which I found INCREDIBLY fascinating! Professor Lotze is also very kind, energetic, and knowledgeable, so I highly recommend her.

    Hours per week:

    6-8 hours

    Advice for students:

Make sure to stay updated on reading assignments, and be sure to read the current chapter before the class that covers the chapter! Copying down chapter vocabulary and definitions also helped me a lot.
