Not too easy. Not too difficult.

    Course Overview:

I would recommend it because he gives you all the information you need to pass his tests from christine rings notes to practice tests.

    Course highlights:

I loved organic chemistry simply because you are begging to understand how certain compounds shape and form. You learn how to create these compounds and with the ab you can get an actual on hands experience.

    Hours per week:

    6-8 hours

    Advice for students:

Definitely do some of his practice tests and also look over Christine rings's notes that are provided for clarification. For extra practice you can always go to the textbooks for insight, I used it for every chapter.

    This class was tough.

    Course Overview:

Great professor, he provides all the material needed to succeed in that class.

    Course highlights:

I learned about all the complex reactions like substitution reactions, elimination reactions, reactions of organometals, diels alder reaction, reaction of Aldehyde and Ketones and many more.

    Hours per week:

    6-8 hours

    Advice for students:

Make sure you do not miss any classes and that you use the teacher's aids that the professor has for you after hours. He also has office hours so if you don't understand something make sure you do or you will get behind and have difficulty catching up.

    This class was tough.

    Course Overview:

Dr. Chang makes sure her students understand the material before quizzes and tests by assigning plenty of homework and practice questions, in class clicker questions, after class Q+A sessions, and SI sessions. You really have to study at least 6 hours a week for this class but you'll soon recognize patterns in chemistry to help.

    Course highlights:

I learned organic chemistry II pretty well from Dr. Chang. There were really no highlights as it still was an organic chemistry class.. it can only get so climactic. But she prepared me very well for future classes and careers.

    Hours per week:

    6-8 hours

    Advice for students:

Study, study, study, and study. Oh, and practice problems. Make sure you memorize and study your notes before you do the homework (and don't look at your notes while doing the homework). I easily found practice problems elsewhere online from other professors that helped.
