    This class was tough.

    Course Overview:

First of all, this class is based around food. You will get to eat in class, specifically candies and donuts.

    Course highlights:

Most of this course focused on the power balances food brings to the table, such as food deserts within cities and food pantries. Privilege is discussed a lot in this class.

    Hours per week:

    3-5 hours

    Advice for students:

If you can, get a ride and clear up some space in your schedule so you have time to do the service learning (aka volunteer) hours. Do the readings before class and don't be afraid to share your opinions because this is a discussion-based class.
