    | Would highly recommend.

Not too easy. Not too difficult.

    Course Overview:

Dr. Joy-Gaba is passionate about her field of study. She tries to reach out to students with current videos and studies that interest those who may not be interested in Learning and Cognition on their own. She expects a lot out of her students, but she gives just as much back to the class. In-class demonstrations, videos, and life stories help connect the lessons to the real world.

    Course highlights:

You learn about parts of the brain, especially how thinking and memory work (or sometimes do not work). You learn about how people can make good (or bad) decisions and how decisions are made.

    Hours per week:

    0-2 hours

    Advice for students:

Take notes in class, read the textbook after class to refresh yourself, and make NOTE CARDS. Dr. Joy-Gaba promotes the use of note cards to help with memory and association and it really does work.
