    | Probably wouldn’t recommend.

    This class was tough.

    Course Overview:

Professor Moore has exceptionally great lectures, however his exams are very difficult and exams require not only memorization but unusually deep understanding of the material and external material as well.

    Course highlights:

The highlight of the course was understanding that you need to understand how to apply the material you learn, not just the general memorization and recitation. With Professor Moore's exams, he gives you outside information or general descriptions that would force you to use the material you studied and apply it to the situation in the question to choose the best answer for the question, much like you would need to do for any post health education.

    Hours per week:

    12+ hours

    Advice for students:

Go to all the office hours and SI/preceptor sessions. If there is a way to not take his class at all, don't unless you are ok with your gpa (most likely) dropping.

    | Would recommend.

    This class was tough.

    Course Overview:

I would recommend this course because it will probably tell you whether or not you can really stick to a Biology or Science degree. She is not going to just let you get by in this course, you have to show that you've actually mastered the information.

    Course highlights:

In this course, I learned a lot about cell division and the central dogma. This course teaches a lot

    Hours per week:

    3-5 hours

    Advice for students:

For this course, you really need to continue studying throughout the semester. Constantly go over what you learned in class. Go to her office hours or make an appointment to meet with her to go over information that you did not understand. Also go to the preceptor review sessions because they really help, they know this stuff already so listen to their advice.
